Pysanky are Ukrainian Easter Eggs.

Taking a raw egg, the artist uses a special tool with melted wax and adds different lines onto the egg. Then the egg is dipped in dye and left to dry. Repeat with different colors.
Then the wax is melted over a candle and the design is shown through.
